The chief operating officer of Abano Healthcare Group and director of Aotea Pathology, Richard Keys, told Radio New Zealand today that district health boards in the Wellington region are putting laboratory pathology services at risk. The interview with him can be heard here. Radio New Zealand’s Checkpoint programme also interviewed Aotea Pathology Chief Executive Karen Wood and Hutt Valley DHB Chief Executive Graham Dyer. Health correspondent Karen Brown provided this analysis of the situation.
