- Unique opportunity to apply economic analysis
- Stimulating work environment
- World leading organisation in its field
Experienced economist, ready for your next career move?
Here’s your chance to apply your economic analysis skills to work that is stimulating, varied, and directly informs decision making. You’ll be joining an organisation with a great culture, that is a world leader in its field.
Health Economists play a critical role at PHARMAC. They are responsible for designing and conducting cost-utility analysis on proposals for pharmaceuticals being considered for listing on the Pharmaceutical Schedule. This involves gathering, synthesising, critically appraising, and presenting clinical information; building pharmacoeconomic models; analysing outcomes and cost data; writing and presenting economic analyses; and liaising with clinicians.
We are seeking experienced health economists; or micro-economists with good quantitative skills, who are interested in developing a career in health economics.
You‘ll need to possess strong modelling skills. You will be focused on what drives results, be able to write clearly and concisely, be confident in presenting complex issues to non-economists, and be able to work to tight deadlines.
This is a unique opportunity in a challenging and rewarding field of work.
We are partnered with OCG Consulting for this recruitment and applications are invited directly to them. For more information, please contact Wendy Sleath (04 498 8963) or Rebecca Wilson (04 915 0561) at OCG Consulting, or submit your CV online at www.ocg.co.nz job reference 50410.
Closes: Sunday 9 March 2014.
