Southern District Health Board Commissioner Kathy Grant’s pay has been topped up to compensate for the risk to her reputation from making unpopular decisions. Papers disclosed under the Official Information Act indicate the Government approved the top-up but it is the cash-strapped DHB that pays Mrs Grant’s $1,400-a-day remuneration. Read more here.
