ARPHS is embracing ‘health care of the future’ after winning a grant for an innovative idea which changes the lives of people suffering from TB.
The $8,000 grant from the Ministry of Health will be used to develop an app so patients can use the Teledot service, even without internet access. The success of Teledot means it will likely be rolled out into other DHBs around New Zealand. This technology is exciting because it has potential to extend into other sectors such as emergency management allowing people to communicate in the event of an emergency.
