Expressions of interest for roles on the Adverse Events Learning Programme expert advisory group
11 Jul 2017 | Adverse Events
We currently have two vacancies for Adverse Events Learning Programme Expert Advisory Group roles:
- Mātauranga Māori expert
- Primary care sector expert
The Commission’s Adverse Events Learning Programme (AELP) works to reduce preventable harm in health and disability services by supporting organisations to have high performing safety cultures and systems.
The AELP Expert Advisory Group (‘the EAG’) was formed in 2013 to provide strategic direction and guidance to the AELP programme team and the sector. The EAG is appointed by the Commission.
The EAG membership comprises respected leaders, who are experts in their respective fields and/or who can offer useful perspectives from a range of sector interests or groups. Membership includes consumers, clinicians, Māori, primary health care services, district health boards, private health and disability service providers, quality and risk expertise, expertise in review methodologies and frameworks and safety systems expertise.
