Headline: Farewells from Cathrine Scott
Cathrine Scott, Pacific Heartbeat Programme Support Coordinator, is moving on and is off to enjoy an extended holiday overseas. Enjoy your adventures Cathrine, we will miss you, it is with our prayers and blessing that we wish you a safe journey. This is Cathrine’s last message to us:
Cathrine’s (far left) last sneaky ride in the lift.
Just a quick note to thank you all for wonderful memories on my journey with the Pacific Heartbeat (PHB) team and at the Heart Foundation over the last five plus years.
The work to support our various communities is ongoing in our different roles but when it is achieved with great people, fun and laughter, it makes that experience much more enjoyable.
Thanks to Louisa Ryan, Pacific Health Manager, and Mafi Funaki-Tahifote, Pacific Heartbeat Operations Manager for their support both professionally and personally in the time I’ve been privileged to be part of the PHB team. Huge thanks (fakaaue lahi) to my current PHB family and those who’ve passed through the PHB team over the years. Thanks also to the Heart Foundation teams around the country who’ve been generous with their time and knowledge in supporting the PHB team.
It’s been wonderful learning and championing New Zealand heart health, engaging with our Pacific communities and seeing the difference the work the Heart Foundation is making with individuals and communities. I will be forever grateful for the opportunities that have occurred from being part of this great team. I’ll be keeping a close eye on the Pacific Heartbeat Facebook page during my travels and look forward to catching up.
Thank you once again.
Onwards and upwards!
Cathrine Scott
