Headline: Police seek information on suspicious Hamilton fire

Hamilton Police and Fire investigators are conducting a scene examination following a suspicious fire in the central city overnight.
Detective Senior Sergeant Ross Patterson of the Hamilton CIB said emergency services were called to the scene on the corner of Tristram and London Streets about 4.25am.
“A security guard raised the alarm by ringing 111 and fire-fighters arrived to find three vehicles had been damaged by a fire which at this time is being treated as suspicious. “The facility where the vehicles were parked is one run by the Waikato District Health Board who are currently assisting Police to review CCTV footage.
An initial assessment of the damage was that one car had been totally engulfed by the fire while another was badly damaged.
A third vehicle and the outside of a building were also damaged and Police are appealing for anyone with any information on how the fire started to contact the Hamilton Central Police Station on 07 858 6200.
Alternatively, information can be left anonymously with the independent Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
